چکیده
Objective – Our study aimed at evaluating changes in liver tissues after simulated injury and use of novel hemostatic agents (containing tranexamic acid) the course vivo experiment. Material Methods The following were studies: TachoComb collagen plate (Group 1); samples local based on sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC), Na-CMC 2); + acid 3). We performed 30 rabbits with laceration via laparoscopy, stopping bleeding by means above-mentioned methods. Then, tissue micrographs, we measuring capsule thickness (μm), sizes hepatocytes their nuclei (px), number binuclear hepatocytes. also calculating nuclear-cytoplasmic ratio (NCR) hepatocytes, as well identifying qualitative quantitative composition tested samples. Results In group, width was 3.2-fold 3.6-fold this parameter from Groups 2 3. Indirectly, finding implied more severe inflammatory regenerative processes limiting area, confirmed statistically significant differences cellular surrounding (fibroblastic cells predominated 3, there fewer them Group 1). highest cell index (CI) value detected Conclusion A boundary zone separating materials parenchyma observed due to connective growth part response.

emostasis is defined as “the stoppage of bleeding, hemorrhage, or blood flow through a blood vessel or body part.” Hemostatic agents improve hemostasis by improving primary hemostasis, stimulating fibrin formation, or inhibiting fibrinolysis. 1 Although transfusion of platelets (PLTs) and hemostatic factors are mainstays of therapy, pharmacologic agents are important adjuncts as blood products ...

Appropriate use of local hemostatic agent is one of the important factors on the prognosis of endodontic microsurgery. However, most investigations to date focus on the hemostatic efficacy of the agents, whereas their biologic characteristics have not received enough attention. The purpose of this paper was to review the biologic response of local hemostatic agents, and to provide clinical guid...
متن کاملTopical hemostatic agents in liver surgery: do we need them?
Background: Worldwide, partial liver resections are increasingly performed for primary or secondary hepatic malignancies. There are various techniques to reduce blood loss during liver surgery. Several topical hemostatic agents have been developed to improve hemostasis of the resection surface and these agents are used more and more, even although the true effects remain unclear. Methods: The p...

Despite all recent developments in surgical techniques during liver surgery, blood loss is still one of the main causes for postoperative morbidity and mortality. Other complications include bile leakage and fluid accumulation intraperitoneally. Fibrin sealants are able not only to enhance clot formation and wound healing but possibly work as a sealing device for postoperative leakage and fistu...
متن کاملHemostatic Agents in Neurosurgery
Hemostasis comes from the coordinated activation of platelets and plasma clotting factors to form a platelet fibrin clot. Two processes, primary and secondary hemostasis activation of the clotting cascade id done by collagen for the intrinsic pathway, and the extrinsic pathway is activated by the release of tissue factors from the damaged zone. The two converge ento the common pathway which beg...
